Pastor Byron F. Walters was baptized in the name of Jesus and filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost in the spring of April 1988 under the ministry of Suffragan Bishop James G. Belle of The Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. (PAW)             

Pastor Walters, having served in multiple rolls of church ministry was called to the preaching ministry in 1991 and served as associate minister for seven years. Pastor Walters was elevated to the position of Senior Pastor in Southern California where he lived. As a member of the PAW In 1998 pastor Walters received his pastoral ordination as an affiliate ministry of the Shield of Faith Fellowship of Churches International Inc. under the Prelate Apostle Henry B. Alexander where Pastor Byron and Cyndela Walters served faithfully in that vineyard for many years. With many other responsibilities Pastor Walters went on to serve as Executive Pastor for the Shield under Apostle Henry B. Alexander.

Pastor Walters preaching and teaching ministries have reached congregations throughout California, Nevada, Arizona and Mexico. He has counseled youth and young adults, and couples restoring the order to God’s family. Because he often incorporates his own experiences of being a father, husband, and pastor. Pastor Walters ministers with compassion, and fervency.

He has been joyfully married for 39 years to the love of his life, Pastor Cyndela G. Walters. Together, they are the proud parents of five saved and devoted children, all of whom have served in ministry. Their legacy continues through 15 beloved grandchildren.

Today, Pastor Walters serves as the Founder and Senior Pastor of Paraclete Ministries International, a ministry committed to “Coming Alongside” pastors and churches in need of support and revitalization. His mission is to help ministries redevelop and strengthen key areas, enabling them to flourish and fulfill their God-given purpose.
